Dubbo Model Aircraft Club flies radio controlled aircraft models in Dubbo, NSW, Australia. The club flies a wide range of models from small electrics, gas and glow powered planes, turbine jets, gliders, helicopters, control line, old timers, war birds all the way up to large scale aerobatic models.

We are generally a group of “Sport Fliers” Flying on a Sunday morning just for the fun of it, though some of our group take
part in competitions such as scale aerobatic IMAC. We often have events such as Fun Flys, Warbirds Days and
Aerobatics Comps to name a few. We cater for anyone who has an interest in flying radio controlled model aircraft
of any sort and guests and spectators are always welcome.

If you want to learn to fly we can teach you for free. Just come along, make yourself known and we will give you a free flight on a model which has two controllers linked by a system known as a buddy box. This allows the mentor to take control of the plane if you get in any trouble so you won’t crash 🙂 so don’t worry.

If you are interested in joining Dubbo Model Aero Club or just want more information, please contact us thought this site.

Upcoming events can be viewed by clicking the notifications on the left hand side of the website from any page.

We are affiliated with the MAAA (Model Aeronautical Association of Australia) and the MAS (Miniature Aero Sports of NSW)

Fathers Day Fun Fly 2014

Sunday 14th Sept 2014 dawned bright and sunny with little wind and temps in the high teens….perfect. Thanks to the efforts of some members the previous weekend, the club and the strip were in great shape and as the cars started rolling in through the gates, it looked like being a fantastic day.
